Launching today, Tel-Aviv based Jiga opens the doors to the public on their B2B marketplace. The service aims to make it three times faster for manufacturers to produce physical products.
Part of the current Y Combinator batch, Jiga has received $125,000 in funding and was previously bootstrapped.
Jiga is coming out strong, with over 30,000 parts having been ordered, produced and shipped, reportedly each reaching their destination faster than traditional methods. These parts also include critical mechanics for ventilation machines.
With COVID 19 disrupting traditional supply chains, Jiga’s service provides engineers and procurement managers with a one stop shop to upload 3D models of parts and specs and receive a quote in near real time. Fully vetted and relevant suppliers can then communicate with the potential client via the Jiga platform.
