In the times when remote working has led to new options and HR is looking at new ways to source talent, there has been a soaring interest in HR tech and its way forward. Bullish about the new trend, Karlsruhe-based recruiting startup Workwise has raised €12 million funding.

The Series A round was led by Karlsruhe-based LEA Partners and Munich-based Armira Growth.

According to the HR experts from Germany, the new funds will be used primarily for faster scaling, further development of the product and expansion of the team. By the end of 2022, the startup plans to grow from 140 to 200 employees, and then to 300 by next year.

Founded in 2015 by Martin Trenkle and Jannik Keller under the name Campusjäger, Workwise is offering a new efficiency in the search for suitable employees on the market through intelligent matching and individual consulting.

Martin Trenkle, CEO, Workwise said: “Over the last few years, we have reached a very good position through successful bootstrapping and constant growth. Our aim now is to offer know-how to reach a new level as a company and make the platform a thought leader for effective recruiting.”
