In October last year, Andrea Zitna joined Speedinvest as a Principal after spending half a dozen years building the business of Elvie - the successful femtech brand - to a healthy $100 million-a-year in sales, and two stints at McKinsey prior to that.
Less than a year later, Zitna was promoted to Partner and focuses on helping the pan-European investment firm identify and back the most promising health tech startups in Europe.
We caught up with Andrea earlier this week and asked her which areas of the healthcare ecosystem in Europe get her the most excited as she makes the transition from operator to investing in medtech startups over at Speedinvest. (Yes, femtech is still one of them).
