French Product Experience (PX) firm Akeneo, has acquired fellow French AI-driven product categorisation platform Unifai in an undisclosed deal. The deal will enhance Akeneo’s product cloud offering ‘to further elevate product experiences for brands, manufacturers, retailers and distributors globally’ - described as the 'World’s First Intelligent Product Cloud'.
The acquisition will also bring about an AI for PX Center of Excellence to 'further help businesses protect their brands from careless AI mistakes', This initiative will openly share with PX professionals the best practices for applying AI to PX, the pitfalls and the latest innovations.
