Amsterdam-based HRtech firm Homerun has been acquired by Invincible Software Holdings (ISH) for an undisclosed sum. According to a statement issued by the companies, Homerun’s founders will remain active in the group as advisors or employees.
Having snapped up Belgian HRtech startup Jobtoolz in June of last year, the addition of Homerun further strengthens ISH’s position in the recruitment sector in the Benelux region, now counting over 1,500 customers spanning some 30 countries.
On the acquisition Homerun CEO Willem van Roosmalen commented:
"Joining the ISH family is an exciting chapter for Homerun. The skills ISH brings to the table will unlock exciting new growth opportunities and accelerate the expansion plans of the business.”
Incorporated in late May 2023 and staffed by several former Webexpenses (acquired by ELMO Cloud HR & Payroll in late 2020) executives, ISH is taking a divergent path in terms of private equity funding.
As opposed to a typical €5 to €10 million ARR threshold used as a measurement for consideration, ISH says that there are plenty of opportunities below this financial yardstick, and is targeting companies with a minimum of €1 million ARR and providing not only investment capital but crucially, skills and knowledge.
The firm receives heavy support from Belgium’s Strada Partners.
On the acquisition of Homerun, ISH co-founder and Managing Partner Adam Reynolds shared:
"Their exceptional recruitment software and impressive track record of customer satisfaction make them an ideal addition to our ATS business and partner for our ambitions into the B2B SaaS Talent space. We are convinced that our collective capabilities and experiences will propel Homerun to new heights.”
