Spanish earth intelligence company Xoople has successfully closed its latest equity round, raising its total funding to €115 million.
Xoople is developing the next generation of Earth Data to understand the physical changes on the Earth’s surface. It integrates geospatial data and AI to recognise patterns, detect change, and provide predictive insights about our world.
The company’s end-to-end system has been developed together with customers in multiple industries and geographies to solve real-world needs. From agriculture and logistics to financial services, Xoople transforms the ability of businesses to drive efficiencies, measure sustainability progress, mitigate risk, and innovate for the future.
Collaborators include Microsoft and ESRI, the world’s largest geospatial software company.
Xoople shareholders are a mix of Spanish and international investors, including CDTI, a public entity under the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and AXIS, a venture capital manager wholly owned by Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO). Xoople is one of few companies classified as a Strategic Enterprise by CDTI, and one of the largest investments in its Innvierte program.
The company is supported by CDTI, AXIS, and the Spanish Space Agency (Agencia Espacial Española).
According to Fabrizio Pirondini, Xoople CEO:
“In our volatile world, the ability to quickly detect and precisely understand changes on the Earth’s surface is more crucial than ever.
As the world’s first purpose-built Earth Intelligence service, Xoople will open endless possibilities, delivering a trusted, global source of data that helps make sense of the world we live in. We are excited to be at the forefront of the transformational possibilities of EarthAI.”
According to Teresa Riesgo, CDTI President and Secretary General for Innovation in the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, what sets Xoople apart is its potential to power enterprise AI systems in Spain and beyond.
“By helping us better understand and respond to what’s happening on the surface of the Earth, Xoople is strengthening Spain’s digital future, while also contributing to Europe’s broader goals for resilience.”
Juan Carlos Cortes Pulido, Spanish Space Agency (AEE) Director, said:
“Xoople’s vision aligns with our mission to improve daily life by turning data into something actionable.”
