Hiasynth raises angel funding to build a queryable synthetic model of Europe’s population

AI startup Hiasynth has raised an angel funding round led by Further Than Capital. The company has built a synthetic model of Europe's population at 1:1 scale, designed to be queried by AI. With it, any company can analyse any consumer market in Europe.

The model holds half a billion personas across 37 countries, each with more than 600 attributes that co-vary as they do in the real population. Though entirely synthetic, each persona is plausible: income, housing, consumption, habits, and values

"Where and how you live define your lifestyle as much as who you are as an individual. So we mapped 3.7 million micro-zones, built the households, and placed every persona inside one. That is what makes the consumption patterns real," says Emma Agering, founder, Hiasynth.

Europe has never behaved like a single market. Each country comes with its own language, its own consumption patterns and its own research bill, which is why so many European companies have expanded to the US before a neighbouring country.

"Market intelligence has always been a luxury service, priced for enterprise. That price is about to collapse. When Europe is one model instead of 37 research projects, a ten-person company can read a market across the continent as well as the market down the street," says Agering.

The round is led by Further Than Capital, joined by three additional angel investors.

Further Than Capital's portfolio includes early positions in Lovable and Blackwall. The capital funds the launch and product development ahead of a planned seed round.

"We back founders before ideas, and Emma has built startups before. When the product ships across Europe on day one, we want to be in from the start," says Per Björklund, Further Than Capital.

Hiasynth launches in September 2026 at Bits & Pretzels in Munich, Germany, and will be available through MCP (Model Context Protocol). This open standard lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT query external tools and data directly.

According to Stefan Lindeberg, Further Than Capital and co-founder of Creandum:

"Language models are good at producing a plausible answer about any market and bad at knowing whether that answer is true.

Hiasynth replaces the guess with a population the model can actually reason over. That is the difference between an AI that sounds convincing and one you can act on."
