London-based fintech Quartz has raised £2.75 million in pre-seed funding as it launches its personal finance platform in the UK. The round was led by Daphni, with participation from Outward VC and K Fund, alongside angel investors including Kantox founder Philippe Gelis and former N26 and Kraken CPO Gilles BianRosa.
Founded in 2025 by former Revolut Head of Global Expansion André Silva and former N26 Investment Product Lead Mateus Mesquita Alves, Quartz is developing a platform that gives users a consolidated view of their finances alongside personalised financial guidance.
Quartz is targeting the gap between traditional wealth management, which typically offers personalised advice at a higher cost, and more standardised financial products that provide limited individual guidance.
Registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an Account Information Service Provider, Quartz allows users to bring financial products including pensions, ISAs, savings and investments into a single app through its proprietary connectors.
The platform includes an AI-based assistant called Charlie, which uses information about a user’s finances alongside market developments to provide personalised insights and highlight information relevant to their portfolio. Users can interact with the assistant to ask questions about their finances and investments.
Small differences in how your money works compound into enormous differences in how your life goes and that shouldn't be reserved for a small niche of people. Compounding is the most powerful force in finance and we've assembled a 10 people strong team across London, Barcelona and Porto to get millions of people on the right side of it,
said André Silva, co-founder and CEO of Quartz.
Quartz has been testing its platform since the first quarter of 2026 and says more than £10 million in members’ assets are currently tracked through the app.
Following its UK launch, Quartz is beginning to onboard users from its waitlist in batches and by invitation. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play, with the company planning to gradually expand access to new members.
