Stockholm-based HRtech startup Alexis raises €1.2 million in seed funding

Alexis, a Stockholm-based SaaS company that offers medium-sized companies people management software, has raised €1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Alliance Venture, paving the way for new hires and further scaling in the Nordics.

Since its start in February (just before the pandemic hit European economies), the company has grown 50 percent month over month. Current clients include Nordic enterprises such as Zound Industries, Norrsken Foundation and Qred. “Our platform simplifies third-party integrations and digital onboarding but is also a tool for visualizing intelligence data to help HR administrators make wiser decisions about their most valuable assets, the employees,” says Nima Samimi, CEO and co-founder. Samimi previously founded Ztory, and when the team grew in several international locations, he saw the need for an intelligent HR hub. Swedish publisher Storytel acquired Ztory in January 2019. Currently just a team of seven, next year Alexis plans to hire 15 more across product, sales and marketing.
