Spanish cybersecurity firm Continuum raises €1.5 million in funding

Continuum Security, a cybersecurity company based in Spain, has raised €1.5 million from Swanlaab Venture Factory with participation from JME Venture Capital and Sonae IM.

The company will further develop its cybersecurity platforms by investing in more research and development. It creates enterprise-level solutions for companies to monitor software vulnerabilities at application design time. It plans to release IriusRisk 2.0, an updated version of the IriusRisk platform, next year.

“This round allows us to continue investing in R&D and develop new solutions for the market so that our customers spend less time on manual security reviews by using our automated solution. This allows them to build software faster and more securely right from the start,” said Stephen de Vries, CEO of the company.

In addition to product development, Continuum will boost its sales efforts internationally. It’s currently active with customers in Europe and the US.
