French “small data” machine learning startup MyDataModels raises €1 million

MyDataModels, a startup based in Sophia Antipolis that provides an automated machine learning platform for small datasets, has landed €1 million from Earlybird Venture Capital.

The startup's main target audience is domain experts with little to no coding skills. With MyDataModels, they can create and run their own predictive models on small datasets in the cloud.

“Big data is only the visible part of the ‘data iceberg’,” said Simon Gazikian, CEO and co-founder of MyDataModels. “Small data is the largest and hidden part and represents more than 80 percent of enterprise data. Having Earlybird on board with us will allow MyDataModels to speed up adoption of our breakthrough automated machine learning software platform.”
