French timelapse video startup Enlaps raises €3 million and launches two new cameras

Grenoble-based timelapse hardware startup Enlaps has landed €3 million in funding from a group of business angels including Fabien Pierlot, Jiong Ma, and Charles Matine.

Founded in 2015, Enlaps has created Tikee, a timelapse video device equipped with two 4K cameras. The startup has sold some 2,000 units so far across 52 countries to be mainly used for site monitoring, as well as event and tourism purposes.

Together with the funding round, Enlaps has announced the launch of two new products, Tikee PRO 2 and Tikee PRO 2+. The latter is a high-end GPS-enabled 6K model that boasts twice the autonomy of the previous model, the company stated in a press release. The devices will retail for €900 and €1,300 excluding VAT, respectively.
