Munich-founded klarx, a platform for renting construction equipment and heavy-duty vehicles, has raised €4 million from Target Global, with participation from the founders of Flixbus, Delivery Hero, and Springstar, among others.
Unlike peer-to-peer platforms that connect private customers, klarx lists over 200,000 heavy machines from its partner networks and provides additional services like insurance and logistics. The startup lists industry players Strabag, Max Bögl, and Deutsche Bahn among its clients.
klarx is planning to use the fresh funding to hire more people in Germany and across Europe to support its international expansion. It estimates its addressable market in Europe at €25 million.
