Swedish e-sports startup Leetify raises €900,000 to build AI coaching platform for gamers

Stockholm-based e-sports startup Leetify has raised €900,000 to develop its AI coaching platform for gamers, currently in beta. The seed round was joined by several Nordic VCs, with Inventure leading and J12 Ventures, Futuristic.vc and others supporting.

The AI coaching platform automatically analyses the matches that gamers play, identifying weaknesses, personalising practices, and tracking progress. The goal is to recreate the training infrastructure that exists for traditional offline sports. “Long term, what we’re building is the ecosystem where gamers can go from amateur to pro,” says CEO and co-founder Anders Ekman.

In a press release, the Swedish company says more than 10,000 gamers already use the platform every month. The seed funding will help accelerate product development, and the startup is on the hunt for candidates with a passion for competitive gaming.

Ekman added: “We intend to stay a product built for gamers, by gamers. To realise our vision, we need a great team, and as such I’d encourage anyone with an interest in competitive gaming to reach out. Right now, we’re looking to build out the product team with additional developers, data scientists and UX designers.” Photo: Co-founders Vitalii Zurian and Anders Ekman
