Oslo-based inzpire.me has raised €1.2 million in a round led by Schibsted Media Group, with participation from SNÖ Ventures, Thomas Falck, and Martin Ingemansson (managing director at Facebook Nordics). The funding will be used for product development as well as for growth in existing Nordic markets and expansion into new ones, namely the UK and Germany.
Founded in 2016, by CEO, Mats Lyngstad, and COO, Marie Mostad, inzpire.me is focused on building a one-stop-shop platform for the digital marketing ecosystem, from brands and media agencies to influencers and talent agencies. The platform lets its users choose the creators for their campaigns from the pool of over 10,000. Users can later manage collaborations and payments on their dashboards, track campaign performance in real time with Reporting and analyse its results. The content is also available for download to repurpose in ads, emails, and social media.
Currently the platform is available in over 100 countries and the company claims the product is used by more than 3,000 brands, ranging from multinational corporations, such as L'Oréal and Universal Music Group, to NGOs, including Unicef and Greenpeace, as well as small businesses.
As part of the investment, Kajsa Gatenbeck, investment manager at Schibsted Media Group is joining inzpire.me’s board.
“Brands are increasingly beginning to understand the value of collaborating with influencers,” said Gatenbeck. “However, finding and working with the right influencers is not necessarily simple, particularly as the number of stakeholders involved in the process grows. The inzpire.me team have managed to build a data-driven platform that not only facilitates communication between creators and brands but also makes the process more efficient for the entire influencer marketing industry, ensuring all parties get the most out of every campaign. Ever since the first meeting with the team, we’ve been impressed by their passion for the product and their clarity of vision, and we are truly excited to support their journey going forward.”
