Swedish firm ComPodium has raised €1.5 million from the Norrland Fund, the Centrecourt angel investor network and Bengt Lundgren, the former CEO of Cygate. The company will use the funds to expand its digital meeting service in the healthcare industry in both Sweden and internationally.

The company was founded 20 years ago by Bengt Grahn, a serial entrepreneur with a long background in audio and video. ComPodium offers secure, high-quality video conferencing for companies and organizations, primarily in the healthcare field.

"We have been a slow startup, a "grow up", you might say. But now, the market has caught up with us. Now we have brought in capital to expand outside Sweden with our partners," Bengt Grahn told Swedish news site Di Digital.
