ContentSquare, an analytics solution for web and app developers, has raised $42 million in a Series B round led by Canaan and Highland Europe with participation from Eurazeo and H14.
Paris-based ContentSquare monitors touch and mouse movements on websites and apps to understand how these services are used. It leverages data to improve users’ experience and increase engagement. Customers including Orange, Rakuten, Walmart, and Goldman Sachs.
The new funds will be used to expand the company’s US business as well as operations globally.
“By improving and automating digital experience analytics, our innovative technology has become a secret weapon for some of the best brands all around the world. This round is a testament to the value we bring to our customers, and we’re very excited about our growth ahead,” said Jonathan Cherki, CEO of ContentSquare.
The company previously raised $20 million in a Series A round in 2016.
