Travel tech startup DCS Plus adds Credo Ventures as new investor

DCS Plus, a Romanian travel tech company, has received an undisclosed investment from Credo Ventures.

According to the company, this brings its total investment raised to $6.2 million alongside previous investor Earlybird Venture Capital.

The Bucharest-based company provides IT solutions to the travel and tourism sector.

DCS Plus plans to expands its international operations, particularly in the Middle East, Central and North Africa, Southeast Asia. It will be opening an office in Dubai in the second quarter of this year.

“We are already preparing the launch of some game-changing technologies quite soon”, commented CEO Cristian Dinca.

The travel tech sector has seen significant growth in the last few years, said Ondrej Bartos, partner at Credo Ventures.

“We strongly believe that dcs plus has developed a very strong suite of products for travel industry, and has the potential to not only become a leading provider of travel software, but also make the market more efficient and transparent for the travelers”, he said.
