German startup Pflegix, an online marketplace for finding helpers and carers launched in 2016, has acquired its competitor, HelloCare.

"We are delighted that we are now combining our forces together under the umbrella of Pflegix and our customers and helpers find a new home there," said HelloCare CEO Katrin Pietschmann, as reported by Deutsche Startups.

"The merger with HelloCare helps us to strengthen our market presence especially in the Hamburg area and to expand our customer base and support team," said Pflegix Managing Director Tim Kahrmann.
