Redwood Technologies secures £25 million from Scottish Equity Partners

Redwood Technologies Group, a cloud communications firm, has received a £25 million investment from Scottish Equity Partners (SEP).

Founded in 1993 in the UK, this is Redwood’s first round of outside investment and will be used to growth its position in the APAC market. It will open a Tokyo office in the coming months.

The company develops the cloud communications provider Content Guru and the storm platforms for mission critical communications in the public and private sector. According to the company, its revenue has increased by 30% in 2016 and 2017.

“Redwood Technologies Group has enjoyed tremendous growth in recent years, driven by the increasing adoption of cloud services by enterprise and public sector,” said CEO Sean Taylor.

“This investment will ensure we continue to grow strongly, both in existing markets and new territories. We selected our investment partner very carefully and SEP’s strong financial track record and the culture of its team really impressed us,” he said.
