Cubic Telecom raises €18 million in funding from Audi and Qualcomm

Cubic Telecom has secured a €18 million co-investment from Audi Electronics Venture (obviously a subsidiary of car maker AUDI) and Qualcomm to boost its cloud-based machine-to-machine (M2M) platform. For Qualcomm, it's the fourth investment in Cubic Telecom.

The Dublin, Ireland-based company aims to enable seamless global connectivity solutions for enterprise customers across automotive, computer OEM and retail sectors. Cubic's applications and technologies are embedded at the manufacturing stage, enabling its customers to offer connectivity anywhere in the world. It works with companies like HP, Lenovo and Australian retailer Woolworths.
