Berlin-based GoEuro scores $70 million to bolster its travel booking platform

GoEuro, the Berlin-based travel booking company led by Naren Shaam, has raised $70 million in funding from Silver Lake Kraftwerk, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Atomico and other investors.

GoEuro has built a real-time booking platform for buses and trains connecting more than 500 transport providers across 12 countries in Western Europe. The fresh cash will help accelerate its product development and geographic expansion.

GoEuro had raised $45 million less than a year ago, and has now secured approximately $146 million in total funding.
