Sweden’s Albacross raises 8 million SEK for its B2B lead generation

Albacross, a lead generation platform from Sweden, has raised 8 million SEK from Alan Mamedi and Nami Zarringhalam, the founders of Truecaller, and Facebook Nordic manager Martin Ingemansson.

Its B2B solution is used by customers to advertise to the right companies and track the performance of their websites as well as reducing cost and risk.

The funding, which is roughly €845,000, will be used to fuel the company’s growth in the European market, according to Victor Ekelund, CEO of Albacross. Right now the service is available in English but Ekelund wants to make it more localised with this expansion. It currently has around 1,300 customers.

“The vision of the company is to be the portal for B2B companies to go to, whether it’s lead generating prospects and getting all that automated. You don’t need to be researching,” said Ekelund.

“Albacross has an exciting growth plan and we are very interested to follow its development,” said Alan Mamedi and Nami Zarringhalam, founders of Truecaller.
