Decibel Insight, a UK user analytics firm, has announced a Series A round of $9 million led by Eight Roads Ventures alongside Ventureforgood.
The company’s solutions are used to tracks the digital customer experience by measuring interactions and user behavioural metrics on webpages and apps via machine learning. The solutions provide companies with data on poor or unsatisfactory experiences on their services. Its clients include Lego, General Motors, Allstate Insurance, and Gucci. The Series A round will be used to scale the business as well as invest in data science to improve its products.

“Decibel Insight fills a glaring gap in the enterprise marketing stack by exposing problems in the user journey in real time, helping clients earn millions of dollars in extra revenue. The additional capital and calibre of our investors will allow us to innovate in this space at an even faster rate.”
The London-based company also has offices in Boston and Denver. As part of the funding round, Eight Roads Ventures partner Michael Treskow will be joining the company’s board.
