French online fashion platform Videdressing has just completed a financing round of €5.4 million. The funding comes from DN Capital, Piton Capital, Earlybird, and Generis Capital. The startup had previously raised €4.6 million in 2013, followed by another round of an undisclosed amount. Along with the financing the company is seeing a change in leadership, as its CEO stepped down and Jérémy Delorme, the former CFO, takes his place.
The startup now has over one million users online. With the new financing, the startup hope to further strengthen its mobile presence - already 60% of its sales are carried out through its mobile site and app.
"Videdressing has become a must for fashion lovers," said Andrin Bachmann, Managing Partner at Piton Capital, as reported by Maddyness. "Much more than a simple e-commerce site, Videdressing is a true collaborative platform and source of inspiration. "
