London-based 'digital beauty concierge' Ruuby acquires Perfect 10

The London-based startup behind on-demand beauty services platform Ruuby has acquired luxury mobile beauty and wellness consultancy Perfect 10.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Backed by £2 million from angel investors including former Bulgari boss, Francesco Trapani, Ruuby offers a host of at-home services to clients in their homes and hotels, including blowdries, manicures, massages and more.

The acquisition comes two years after Ruuby acquired photo-sharing app BeautySpotter, and tech.eu has also learned of the former's previously unpublicised acquisition of rival Neat Nation, which closed earlier this year.

Ruuby was founded by CEO Venetia Archer in 2015, and currently offers services across London, Surrey and Essex thanks to a network of 350+ makeup artists, hairdressers and beauty professionals.

Charlie McCorry, CEO of Perfect 10, will join Ruuby as Chief Operations Officer, and will focus on scaling the merged operations on the buyer's platform.
