The US-founded accelerator and entrepreneur network Techstars has announced a slew of events and programming in Turin, Italy, along with a partnership with Turinese foundations Compagnia Di San Paolo and Fondazione CRT, as well as Italy’s largest bank, Intesa Sanpaolo.
Later this month, Techstars will hold the four-day Startup Week Torino, a free event for entrepreneurs, investors, and other ecosystem players. The free event will take place on June 25–28.
On September 22–26, Turin will host Techstars Summit 2019, a three-track event that will join what previously existed as three separate events: Techstars FounderCon, Techstars Partner Summit and Techstars Ecosystem Summit.
Techstars has also announced a new acceleration programme in Turin focused on smart mobility. The applications are expected to open in July, while the programme itself will kick off in the first quarter of 2020.
