Munich-based AI startup e-bot7 scores €5.5 million in Series A funding for its European expansion

The AI startup e-bot7 has secured 5.5 million in financing for further growth by the investors RTP Global, 42CAP, Main Incubator (early-stage investor of the Commerzbank Group), and a renowned business angel. With the new capital, the startup will further expand its position in the European market, by investing in both its technology and business team.

E-bot7 was founded in 2016 by Fabian Beringer, Xaver Lehmann, and Maximilian Gerer, who have been included in the Forbes "30 Under 30" list, in order to promote the topic of AI on a political level. The founders are also mentors of renowned programs such as the Founders Institute in Silicon Valley, TechFounders, InsurTech Hub and many more.

"Our goal is not only to offer the best AI-based technology and revolutionise customer service, but also to make it as easy as possible for companies to introduce and use such a technology," said Lehmann. “That's why we've built a plug-and-play solution that can be used directly by companies without any development and IT effort."

E-bot7 develops and integrates artificial intelligence and deep learning into existing CRM customer service systems. The company's solution automates customer service inquiries and processes, analyses incoming messages, routes them to the right department, and supports customer service representatives with response suggestions. The startup claims it reduces average processing time by up to over 80 percent, with recurring requests and processes solved automatically.

“Customer service automation is a huge market, and e-bot7 has successfully proven that their solution can provide sizable gains to customer across multiple verticals,” added Alex Pavlov, partner at RTP Global. “We see amazing potential to further build out technology and penetrate customer base across Europe.”
