Düsseldorf-based job marketplace StepStone has acquired San Francisco-based conversational AI tech Mya. The award-winning Mya technology will be incorporated into StepStone’s autonomous matching platform, effectively matching job opportunities to candidates who may not actively be searching for them.
We look forward to becoming part of one of the most successful online recruiting companies globally. StepStone is a pioneer in autonomous matching and the perfect platform for Mya to scale our technology and impact millions of job seekers,” comments Grayevsky.
In addition to putting new opportunities in front of the eyes of passive job seekers via Mya, StepStone also reports upping conversational user interaction with particular emphasis placed on job seeker preferences, skills, and interests, culminating in the increased number of quality job applications.
“Today, online job search still relies on job seekers typing in job titles and locations. As a result, many people do not find the right job. In the future, conversational AI will help us to have meaningful interactions with our users and to find out what really matters to them”, comments StepStone CEO Dr. Sebastian Dettmers. “Our goal is to fundamentally change how job seekers discover their full range of opportunities.”
