Copenhagen-based no-code software test automation platform Leapwork has raised a healthy $62 million in a Series B funding round. The company has recently established a foothold in the US, and the majority of this funding will be used to expand into the North American market. To date, the startup has raised $72 million.
Favouring a visual approach over a coded one, Leapwork bridges the gap between business units and IT teams and provides a common sandbox for both to play in. While the platform can be used to automate any routine business process, software testing, specifically at scale, is Leapwork’s bread and butter.
According to the company, customers can foster an idea to a market offering 10x faster, improve productivity by 97%, and reduce software application errors by 90%.
Leapwork co-founder and chief product officer Claus Rosenkrantz Topholt comments, “Our no-code technology breaks down the language barrier between humans and computers, empowering regular business users to tell a computer what it is they want it to do for them, without needing to use code. The result is a significantly increased capability to automate everyday processes at scale and reduced maintenance costs.”
Looking to tap into these impressive numbers, Leapwork counts over 300 organisations on its client roster, including major players PayPal, Mercedes-Benz and BNP Paribas.
The Series B round was co-led by KKR and Salesforce Ventures with existing investors DN Capital and Headline following on.
