January 2022: €12 billion raised by European Tech startups

The first month of the year was good for a lot of good old dealmaking: European technology startups raised just over €12 billion in funding in January 2022 from more than 1,240 investors in total, across 450+ deals.

European technology companies raised just over €12 billion in funding last month (aka January 2022) from more than 1,240 investors in total, across 450+ deals, and we monitored 130 exits to boot. As we mentioned before, Tiger Global was the most active investor with 11 deals accounted for.
