Less than 12 days to go before the inaugural Tech.eu Summit in Brussels and we can't wait to see you all there!
Join hundreds of European tech entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, policy makers, academics and journalists - in person or online - on 17 May as we discuss the best way to carve out a path of growth for the #EUtech scene, and define actions to take its startup innovation ecosystems to the next level in a sustainable way.
One of the things we have in store for you is a deep dive into all things crypto, which seems to be going to perennially turbulent times.
We're delighted that this discussion will be led by crypto connoisseur Joon Ian Wong, who's been reporting on the industry since 2013. He was a reporter at CoinDesk and built its flagship conference, Consensus, which has become the major industry gathering since 2015.
Prior to that, she spent 3 years with Revolut in various roles, including building and leading its global growth department, playing an instrumental role in growing the business from 1 million to 15 million+ users. Before that, she built and led Uber's marketing team in Romania, scaling the local market to 1 million+ users.
Also on board: Ruben Merre, co-founder and CEO of Belgian startup NGRAVE, the creator of "ZERO", which they dub the world's most secure hardware wallet for crypto storage. In 2021, he was selected for Belgium's 40 under 40, and with good reason.
Last but not least, Bulgarian investor Stephane Gantchev will share another perspective on things.
As a partner at LAUNCHub Ventures, an early stage VC fund investing in Southeastern Europe and its diaspora with more than €100 million under management, he has seen and heard a lot about the space.
Not to be missed, just like everything else ;)
