Berlin-based early-stage tech and foodftech investor(s) Atlantic Labs and FoodLabs are getting even more serious about climate tech with the launch of their Founders for Climate initiative. The programme aims to establish what the firm(s) are calling Europe’s first ClimateTech Entrepreneur in Residence.
“We strongly believe that entrepreneurs will bring solutions to one of the biggest issues today: the climate crisis,” explained Atlantic Labs and FoodLabs’ Founding Partner Christophe Maire. “With our new ClimateTech EIR programme we encourage entrepreneurial, scientific and technical talent to build companies that really matter and that have a positive impact.”
EIRs that are accepted to the programme will have the opportunity to explore and validate their climate tech business idea or ideas and begin to flesh out their venture. Strategic sparring, mentoring and hands-on operational support from the teams at Atlantic Labs and FoodLabs are all on tap.
An incubator at heart, the ClimateTech Entrepreneur in Residence programme aims to find the best-in-class founders, be they entrepreneurs, scientists, or engineers, who want to build tech companies that fight climate change, all the while benefiting not only from the training and support listed above but also with access to an international network and a portfolio of more than 150 companies.
Applications to Atlantic Labs/FoodLabs’ ClimateTech Entrepreneur in Residence are now open.
