London's CMC Invest , part of CMC Group, is heralding a product success having used its internal resources to build a cloud-driven customer experience network for financial services clients.

According to CMC head of product Alister Sneddon, the customer experience programme, powered by Amazon Web Services, immediately improved response times integrating feedback into its product.

Since launch in September, CMC has deployed feedback from the app to execute new product features such as flexible stocks and shares ISA accounts and ESG scoring, as well as building new product versions.

Alister Sneddon said: "Cloud technologies now allows CMC Invest to rapidly build and deploy changes and introduce concepts such as infrastructure-as-code and serverless architecture. As such, the team has been able to reduce reliance on traditional support teams, reducing hand-offs in our development processes, thereby accelerating our development timelines."

CMC Group was founded in 1989. Its app CMC Invest allows customers to start their investment journey with access to 1,300 US and UK shares, along with 300+ exchange-traded funds and investment trusts.
