The firm has just newly included three new members to the executive team as part of its growth commitments. Monite plans to expand its footprint in the EU and UK while also expanding into the US market and beyond.
Sophie Haagensen joins the team as Chief of Staff, she brings with her experience as COO at KodyPay and she was also part of the founding team at retail bank Atom Bank. “I am hugely impressed by the talent and passion of the team, as well as the genuine commitment to building a positive and productive culture - something that, in my experience, sets great companies apart from the competition,” says Haagensen.
Also joining the team is Chief Product Officer Dan Osburn who most recently held the position of VP of product at Marqeta and brings with him over fifteen years experience in product and engineering roles in the fintech space, including Marqeta’s growth from a $20 million start-up into a $12 billion public company. “Our vision centres around offering an expansive and unified suite of financial products to B2B platforms, with a strong emphasis on user experience,” says Osburn.
Hoang Pham joins the team as Head of Marketing. Pham joins from online payments firm Mollie and will grow the company's ‘brand presence’ and elevate its market positioning. “The product and tech Monite has built so far are really impressive, when all the pieces fall into place, only great things can happen,” says Pham.
"We are truly honoured to have leaders from industry-breaking companies like Marqeta, Atom Bank and Mollie choose Monite as their new workplace. Their decision showcases a remarkable level of trust and validation in our product and mission. With their help, Monite is on its way to becoming an embedded finance category leader. The contributions from Dan, Sophie, and Hoang will drive Monite’s steady growth, foster innovation, and help revolutionise B2B financial workflows alongside our solid tech team," says Ivan Maryasin, CEO of Monite.
