France-based cybersecurity company Hackuity has raised $19 million in funding to further develop its vulnerability management platform and expand internationally. The round was led by Forgepoint Capital International, with participation from existing investors Bright Pixel, Bpifrance and Seventure Partners. The investment brings Hackuity’s total funding to $38 million.
Hackuity develops a Vulnerability Operations Center (VOC) designed to help enterprises manage and remediate security vulnerabilities across their IT environments. Its platform aggregates findings from more than 130 security tools and combines them with threat intelligence, asset criticality and business context to help security teams identify which vulnerabilities require attention.
The company is addressing a growing challenge for security teams as the number of identified vulnerabilities increases and AI tools make it possible to discover them more quickly. There are now around 350,000 known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), according to Hackuity, representing a 20 per cent year-on-year increase. At the same time, security teams often have to manage findings generated by multiple detection tools and coordinate remediation across security, IT and engineering departments.
Hackuity’s platform is designed to consolidate these findings and prioritise remediation based on the level of risk they pose to an organisation. Its proprietary risk-scoring engine continuously assesses factors including vulnerability severity, exploitability, threat intelligence, asset criticality and potential business impact.
Hackuity was founded on a simple conviction: the volume of vulnerabilities would outpace any human's capacity to respond.
What we built before the wave arrived is exactly what enterprises need now that it's here: an agentic platform that automates prioritisation and drives remediation at machine speed,
said Patrick Ragaru, co-founder and CEO of Hackuity.
The company also works with systems integrators, resellers and managed security service providers (MSSPs) to support enterprises deploying its vulnerability management technology.
The funding will support further product development and the expansion of Hackuity’s AI capabilities. It will also support the company’s international growth, with a focus on Europe and Asia.
