IntelliProve, a Belgian software startup, has raised €1.25M in seed funding from Belgian VC/Venture Studio Miles Ahead, Wit-Gele Kruis, imec.istart Fund, and tech entrepreneurs Jeroen De Wit, Louis Jonckheere, Gilles Mattelin and Jorn Vanysacker, Matthias Geeroms and Joris Van Der Gucht. Existing investors, such as The White and Yellow Cross and imec.istart fund, and business angels joined the financing round.
The company's software measures health parameters—such as heart rate, respiratory rate and stress—in seconds using optical face scans via a smartphone camera.
IntelliProve now operates in Belgium, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, and Denmark, serving clients like Helan and Neutraal Ziekenfonds Vlaanderen.
Its technology leverages advanced signal processing and computer vision, on a smartphone—providing "digital biopsies" that support preventive healthcare. Founded in 2021, the medtech began by collaborating with organizations including Het Wit-Gele Kruis, TU Delft, vzw Zorg-Saam, and imec.istart. With CE-marking as a medical device and ISO27001 certification, the product is offered as a plug-in solution for digital platforms and apps across sectors such as digital health, corporate wellbeing, and health insurance.
“This isn't just a number; it represents millions of people benefiting from healthcare that is more accessible and personalized than ever before,” says Joeri Tulkens, one of the co-founders and co-CEO of IntelliProve, of their growth. Tulkens welcomes the new backing and stated: “We have a great product, a fantastic team, supportive research partners and a digital health market that embraces new technologies. With the backing of tech leaders who bring invaluable expertise in scaling businesses, this smart funding comes at the perfect time to help us scale further.”
Brecht Dhuyvetters, co-founder and CPO of IntelliProve, added: “Since the beginning of our product development, our goal has been to build an accessible, user-friendly and inclusive solution to lower barriers to preventive healthcare. With this strategic investment, we’re ready to take the next step: refining our solution further and rolling it out across Europe.”
“IntelliProve stands out with its strong and passionate team and innovative approach to preventive healthcare.” said Luc Burgelman, founder of Miles Ahead. “Health is one of our core verticals, and we’re confident their technology will make a meaningful impact on millions of lives.”
