Polish robotics startup Nomagic has raised $44M in its latest round. The round was led by the venture capital arm of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with extended support from existing investors Khosla Ventures and Almaz Capital, and includes previously signed venture debt from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The funding will support the expansion of deployments across Europe over the next two years and further investment in Nomagic’s AI and robotics technology, leveraging recent advancements made by its AI team.
Nomagic provides AI-powered robotic solutions designed to automate warehouse operations for retailers, manufacturers, and logistics companies. Its technology focuses on tasks such as picking, packing, and sorting items, aiming to enhance efficiency, reliability, and accuracy in fulfillment processes.
By integrating advanced AI systems, Nomagic's robots identify and handle a wide variety of products, learning from data to improve performance over time. Additionally, they offer 24/7 monitoring and support to ensure continuous operation of automated workflows, combining AI-based monitoring with a remote operations platform to address any issues that arise.
The warehouse industry is rapidly adopting robotics, with AI-powered robotic picking solutions addressing a key gap in the automation process.
“This funding round marks a pivotal moment for Nomagic as we scale our solutions to meet the growing demand from our customers for larger scale high-performing robotic systems,” said Kacper Nowicki, CEO.
“With the support of our investors, we’re positioned to be the partner of choice for the largest retailers, e-com distributors and 3PLs who look for robots already operating at scale.”
“Nomagic’s proven track record in deploying advanced AI and robotics technologies, combined with its impressive growth trajectory, positions it as a leader in the warehouse automation revolution,” said Bruno Lusic at EBRD Venture Capital.
