French enterprise conversational AI company Kleio has secured €3 million in Seed funding.
Kleio focuses on transforming complex sales journeys with AI-powered features like natural language interactions, customer intent, lead qualification and product recommendation, sales lead prioritisation, sales workflow automation and intelligent routing.
Its AI platform encompasses specialised AI agents working together to automate complex customer interactions and aims to streamline complex purchasing and customer service processes.
Unlike companies adapting legacy chat systems to Generative AI or providing one-size-fits-all solutions, Kleio's technology is purpose-built for key sectors, including real estate, energy, cosmetics, automotive, financial services, and travel.
With seamless integration, scalability, and personalised solutions, Kleio helps enterprises boost sales conversions and drive revenue growth.
The platform has delivered over 600,000 AI-driven conversations, €50M+ in business revenue generated for clients, and deployed 120+ AI agents.
Client Havas Voyages saw a 200 per cent surge in web leads, conducted tens of thousands of personalised sales conversations, and generated thousands of qualified leads in just three months, all while converting prospects through AI in under two minutes.
Founded in early 2024 by AI veterans Philippe Wellens, Adrien Mathieu, and Louis Poirier, Kleio's leadership team brings over 30 years of AI experience across products, sales, and technology, and held pivotal roles at C3 AI in Europe and in the US.
"Our goal is to provide enterprises with an AI platform to create tailored, intuitive, data-driven buying experiences that outperform in-store interactions," said Philippe Wellens, co-founder and CEO of Kleio.
"We position ourselves as long-term partners, continuously enhancing customer experiences for brands and delivering measurable boosts in sales results.
We're also technological partners for other sales-related use cases such as augmentation of internal sales teams, lead nurturing and lead scoring."
Serena and Daphni led the round, with support from Houman Behzadi (Executive VP at C3 AI), Julien Bellanger (CEO at Prevoty), Raphael Simon (ex-CTO at Shine.fr), and Dave Kellogg (ex-CEO of HostAnalytics and ex-SVP at Salesforce).
According to Nicolas Gerbal, Director of Travel and Leisure at Showroomprivé:
"Kleio's platform unlocks new possibilities for elevated customer experiences with hyper-personalisation and significant sales growth for Showroomprivé."
Kleio plans to use the funding to enhance its platform by increasing the number and skills of its AI agents, integrating with more Enterprise systems, and training AI models for sales.
