Kondor raises Pre-Seed investment to tackle industrial energy waste

Kondor, an AI co-pilot dedicated to solving industrial energy inefficiencies, has secured Pre-Seed investment from Deep Science Ventures (DSV) and an international strategic energy investor to fuel its expansion.

The team is on a mission to revolutionise industrial energy efficiency and decarbonisation through AI agents which can perform data analysis, build engineering models of equipment and processes, write and execute code, and generate custom dashboards and reports to visualise results.

Kondor’s AI co-pilot reduces costs and CO2 emissions by identifying and optimising inefficient equipment, systems, processes and facilities. It enhances decision-making in real-time and for longer-term decarbonisation goals.

The company is currently rapidly growing within the midstream and upstream energy sectors.

Tim Highfield, CEO and Co-Founder of Kondor, said:

“This funding is a critical milestone for us. With DSV’s support, we can take the necessary steps to build our product, grow our customer base and build a strong foundation for the way we approach energy efficiency in industries struggling with it the most.”

According to Noah Geeves, Head of Portfolio and Partnerships, Climate; Deep Science Ventures, Kondor’s agentic systems can triage energy efficiency issues and offer continuous optimisation:

“This is pushing the boundaries in both energy efficiency and decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries. We believe that Tim and Peter are the ideal team; bringing deep expertise in industrial energy efficiency and an entrepreneurial track record of building and scaling energy systems.”

In addition, Kondor recently completed the Net Zero Technology Centre's (NZTC) TechX Accelerator Programme. The partnership with NZTC provides Kondor with insight to the global energy landscape and markets, and growth support over the course of the programme and beyond.

The investments will enable Kondor to validate its technology in real-world pilots and to demonstrate CO2 and opex savings.
