German “smart” luggage startup Horizn has secured a €10 million funding round from Project A, Vorwerk Ventures, Milano Investment Partners, Perpetual Ventures, and the former Puma CEO Franz Koch. This round brings the total amount raised by the startup to €25 million.
Founded in 2015, the company currently employs some 70 people. Its hardshell suitcases with a removable power bank cost from €270; the company also sells laptop bags, toiletry bags and passport covers. So far, Horizn has managed to sell a six-figure amount of suitcases.
The startup plans to use the funding to launch its digital travel assistant, Horizn Go, which would book travel and accommodation for the users.
