Davinci Travel System raises €2.1 million to take the hassle out of group travel

Davinci Travel System, a Prague-based travel startup developing a B2B platform for group hotel bookings, has announced a new funding round of €2.1 million. Czech venture capital fund Reflex Capital led the round, with additional contributions from two existing investors: Seedcamp and J&T Ventures.

Davinci TS is automating group travel logistics around the world. Group reservations are still done manually in almost every travel industry sector. Booking a hotel, flight, restaurant, or guided tour usually requires an email or phone call, as do any changes to the reservation details. The Davinci TS online platform connects both sides of the reservation, so they can reach negotiations faster and cheaper, avoiding language or legislative barriers.

The latest funds will develop new product features that can extend the same automation to meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibition operators.

Since entering the market in 2017, the business has grown to cooperate with more than 10,000 hotels throughout Europe and over 300 tour operators worldwide. Next, the business has plans to expand east.

Alex Ilyash, founder and CEO of Davinci TS said, “In the near future, we are going to focus on the international expansion of our platform to Asian markets and on the onboarding of more tour operators. We are currently looking for strategic partners who will help us with this expansion.”
