Finnish forestry tech startup CollectiveCrunch lands €600,000

CollectiveCrunch, a Helsinki-based forestry tech startup, has raised €600,000 from Thominvest, bringing the total amount secured by the company to €1 million.

The product of CollectiveCrunch is the Linda Forest AI platform that “utilises climate, geo, and customer process data to arrive at better predictions of forest inventory,” the company said in a statement. With Linda, foresters can get a precise knowledge of the volumes and species of wood on their land without having to drive and inspect it.

Recently, CollectiveCrunch partnered with Metsähallitus Forestry Ltd. It also has customers across Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and Brazil, and operates through several offices in Helsinki, Berlin, and Munich.
