Biosite, which provides access control software for the construction sector, raised £4 million from Mobeus Equity Partners in order to expand its team and expand its suite of site management tools.
The Solihull, UK-based company has developed a system that works with low grade fingerprints to provide access control for workers coming on site. Biosite's clients can use the data collected to manage their workforce and offer broader security services.
The company counts major UK construction firms among its clients, including Wates, Bouygues, Willmott Dixon and BAM Construction.
