UK-based fertility care startup Apricity raises €6 million from the insurance giant AXA

London-headquartered fertility care provider Apricity has landed a funding round of €6 million from AXA’s Kamet Ventures. This capital injection brings the total amount of funding attracted by the startup to €8.8 million.

Apricity markets itself the best combination of human care and new technologies for prospective parents. It helps the users to connect with clinicians and offers “personalised advice and support.” Recently, the startup also acquired Altrui, an egg donation service based in the UK.

“The fundraising will allow us to accelerate our go-to-market plans, especially with AXA, to better support and empower women and couples everywhere,” said Caroline Noublanche, CEO and Co-Founder of Apricity. “The acquisition of Altrui is especially exciting for us. It gives us a great opportunity to realise our vision of becoming the number one route for accessing and using fertility services.”
