Tech.eu is looking to hire an experienced data analyst and research editor, to take our market intelligence and editorial platforms to the next level. If you like both letters and numbers, and you’re as comfortable diving into databases and spreadsheets as you are writing words in your content management system of choice, we would love to have a word with you.
Tech.eu is the premier online publication dedicated to the growing European technology ecosystem(s), delivering a range of editorial products with a clear focus on curated news, actionable information and educational interviews with movers and shakers from across Europe, combined with insightful market intelligence reports based on our proprietary database, events, a jobs platform and a variety of other services.
We started Tech.eu in 2013 with a diverse team based across Europe, and are passionate as ever about covering the ins and outs of the ever-evolving European technology landscape. In October 2021, we were acquired by Webrazzi, a media, research and events company based in Turkey, and we are keen to expand our team and accelerate our growth.
We’d love for you to join our ranks if you think you can help us turn the treasure trove of data we have into value-added insights for our audience, customers and partners located around the world.
You will be responsible for creating and delivering robust market intelligence reports and high-quality data-driven content to a diverse and global crowd of investors, corporate executives, M&A analysts, policymakers, researchers, startup entrepreneurs, event organisers and journalists, but also to the growing Tech.eu team itself. Your data will drive decision-making within a lot of organisations, so attention to detail is crucial.
You will work closely with the CEO and editorial team to develop a strategy for our data-driven market intelligence products and services, and to grow our paid membership base. That means you already have 1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis and visualisation, as well as proven English writing and speaking skills, and you are familiar with the world of technology startups and scale-ups, VC and innovation ecosystems.
Like it says in the title, if you can demonstrate that you have what it takes to turn data into valuable insights, then we’d love to sit down and talk. Demonstrable experience with SQL, data visualisation and business intelligence tools is a must.
We welcome candidates from wherever they choose to live and/or work, but proximity can be a good thing, so we pay extra attention to people in Belgium and the UK; we currently have an office in the center of Brussels and will open a second one in London soon.
