Berlin-based logistics startup Fliit, which organizes food deliveries, has completed a Seed round of €1.5 million, which it will use to continue its expansion. The investment comes from IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft and VC Fonds Kreativwirtschaft Berlin GmbH.

Fliit is a logistics platform that focuses on supplying fresh food and other sensitive products to customers. The startup has created a provider management system to match the right supplier with every retailer and product. The platform also provides transparency through various tracking options.

"Each product places different demands on logistics, and each customer has their own delivery preferences. We bring these points together and adapt logistics individually," said Flavio Alario, founder and CEO of Fliit in a statement.

"Fliit is building the operating system for the last mile and is successfully applying it to the most difficult product: Fresh food," added Rayk Reitenbach, investment director at the IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft.
