Tel Aviv artificial intelligence (AI) company Knowmail has received $3.5 million in a financing round led by CE Ventures, with participation from AfterDox, Plus Ventures, 2B Angels, INE Ventures, and various private equity firms.

Founded in 2014 by Haim Senior, Oded Avital, and Avi Mandelberg, Knowmail is a SaaS (software as a service) that provides personal messaging solutions using AI in order to increase consumer productivity. It acts as a personal assistant by helping people communicate and collaborate more effectively by better management of emails and other messages.

The company intends to use the funding to continue building its functionality in preparation for the launch in early 2017.
