Next week, tech.eu will participate in Digital Media Europe, a self-proclaimed 'digital revenue event' for the publishing industry that we've partnered with. Not only out of obvious interest in the topic, but also to actively contribute on Tuesday afternoon as the moderator of a session entitled 'discovering brilliant startups'.
The event will be held in London from 20 to 22 April at etc.venues St. Paul's in the heart of the city.
On Tuesday, I'll be moderating the aforementioned sessions, which features Johanna Staaf (Director New Ventures at Telenor Digital), Jeanette Dyhre Kvsivik (CEO of SoBazaar), Hannah Blake (Open Innovation Director at MEC and previously programme manager of BBC Worldwide's startup accelerator), and Rowly Bourne (founder of Rezonence).
If you're in town and interested in the topic at hand, you can register for the conference at a special startup discount; using the code 'dmestartup' during online registration will give you a discount of more than €1,000 on the usual ticket price.
Other speakers at the event include Christoph Keese (Executive Vice President of Axel Springer), Chei Amlani (head of digital publishing at the Telegraph Media Group), Marten Blankesteijn (founder and CEO of Blendle, a Dutch startup backed by The New York Times and Axel Springer), Julian Childs (Managing Director for UK and Europe of Business Insider), Cyrus Farivar (senior business editor at Ars Technica), Sachin Kamdar (CEO and Co-Founder of Parse.ly), Ashwin Sridhar (responsible for global revenue from advertising on Economist.com) and Lockhart Steele (editorial director of Vox Media).
Hope to see you there!
