Enghouse Systems buys Stockholm-based enterprise software firm Aktavara for an undisclosed sum

Enghouse Systems, a 30-year old software and services company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, has acquired Sweden's Aktavara and its 19 employees for an undisclosed amount.

Founded back in 2002, Stockholm-based Aktavara offers software solutions for telecommunications service providers, servicing telcos and network operators across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Notably, this is the second time today we're reporting on a publicly traded Canadian company shopping for European tech companies, after Imperus gearing up to buy Barcelona-based game studio Akamon.
